Tim and Penny Kay are delighted to welcome you Fig Trees Farm which is located in the small village of Saint Valérien between the market towns of Fontenay le Comte and Luçon in the Vendée. Set in the heart of the village, yet within a stones throw of the open countryside, it is ideal for walking or cycling. The properties enjoy a southerly aspect allowing the sunlight to flood into the property all year round.

We are now taking bookings for Jasmine Cottage & La Grange for both holidays, short or weekend breaks. We also are able to offer medium and long term lets please contact us for further details. During peak season bookings run from Thursday to Thursday for Jasmine Cottage and Saturday to Saturday for La Grange, however alternative changeover days during mid and low season can be accommodated by prior arrangement. Fig Trees Farm is ideally located for many of the attractions to be found in the area. Safe sandy beaches are 45 minutes drive away as is the old port of La Rochelle. The wine regions of Bordeaux, Cognac and the Loire valley and Futuroscope at Poitiers are all within a day trip. Closer to home there is the Marais Poitevin, Venise Verte and the Mervent Forest and much more. For further details please see Things to do.

Fig Trees Farm also benefits from great communication links with three airports, La Rochelle, Nantes and Poitiers, all within easy reach, as are the ferry ports of Saint Malo, Cherbourg, Caen and Le Havre just a few hours away. Those letting the train take the strain can travel from Waterloo via Eurostar to Paris, take the TGV from Paris to nearby Niort in as little as six to seven hours making Fig Trees Farm an ideal destination for your holidays or for short weekend breaks.
