Within the village is a small shop and bar (Tabac), both are close to Figtrees Farm. Fresh baguettes, croissants and pain au chocolat are delivered daily. The shop also has a good selection of groceries along with fresh fruit and vegetables. It's open 6 days a week from 0800 hrs to 1330 hrs and then again from 1700 hrs to 2100 hrs, closed on Saturday and Sunday evening (winter only) and all public holidays.
The larger supermarkets can be found in Fontenay le Comte (15 mins) or Lucon (20 mins), they are open from Monday to Saturday. There is a smaller supermarket in nearby Sainte Hermine (10 mins) and L'Hermanault (5 mins) both are open on Sunday mornings.
There are several local markets selling locally produce within a short drive from Figtrees Farm.
Cycling is a great way to explore the local countryside and unless you are bringing your own bikes we would recommend BikeHireDirect. They have some great packages to include family, adults or childrens bikes and they will deliver them directly to Figtrees Farm! www.bikehiredirect.com
